Abstract

PURPOSE:To automatically support a rotated object to a rotary main spindle in no relation to a rotary position of the rotated object, by control means in which one end of the supplied rotated object and the rotary main spindle, supporting and rotatively driving said rotated object, are automatically engaged. CONSTITUTION:A driving gear comprises a rotary main spindle 12, capable with axially shuttling motion and rotatable, center 16, supporting a rotated object 48, engagement protrusions 24, provided to one of the main spindle 12 and transmitting rotary motion of the main spindle 12 to the rotated object 48, driving device 10, both rotatively driving the main spindle 12 and stopping the main spindle 12 at a desired rotary position, and driving device 10, giving axially shuttling motion to the main spindle 12. A control means 34 operates in such a manner that the engagement protrusions 24 of the main spindle 12 move forward to engaged protrusions 52 of the rotated object 48, if adapted and blocked, the main spindle 12 is once moved backward and shifted its rotary position to a predetermined angle again moved forwrd, thus the both engaging and engaged protrusions 24, 52 can be engaged.
