Abstract

PURPOSE:To receive character information correctly by previously adding a prediction signal before either of voice information and the character information, and then adding a paper end signal after the transmission of the information. CONSTITUTION:A voice prediction signal 2 and a voice end signal 4 are inserted before and behind voice information 3. When character information 1 is transmitted firstly, a connecting circuit 7 is closed and a connecting circuit 8 is opened under the control of a control circuit 13. Then, when the voice prediction signal 2 is detected by a detecting circuit 6, the connecting circuit 7 is opened and the connecting circuit 8 is closed under the control of the control circuit 13. A detecting circuit 6 detects the voice end signal 4 to know that the voice information 3 ends, and the control circuit 13 closes the connecting circuit 7 and opens the connecting circuit 8. Thus, the prediction/end signal by voice is detected to exercise connection and disconnection control over receiving circuits 9 and 10, thereby preventing the malfunction of the receiving circuit 9 for a character signal and the generation of the unnecessary noise of a voice monitor speaker 12.
