CONSTITUTION:The 1st mirror 3 is provided with the 1st carriage 9 provided with a pulley 8, and the 2nd mirror 4 is provided to the 2nd carriage 11, which are so arranged as to have mutually right-angled position relations. The carriage 9 is connected to the 1st cable 14 which is wound on a large diameter capstan pulley 12 and the 1st idler pulley 13 or the like, and the 2nd carriage 11 is connected to the 2nd cable 17 which is wound on a small diameter capstan pulley 15 and the 2nd idler pulley 16 or the like, so that the 1st mirror 3 is scanned horizontally and the 2nd mirror 4 at a 45 deg. angle to the X-axis of the photorecetor. The magnification is changed by this with good accuracy, and the construction is simplified.
