Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a trimming filter having the comb-shaped transmission properties that performs the separation among the luminous flux components of the blue, green and red color bands respectively, by laminating plural layers of specific optical film thickness which is made of the materials having different refractive indexes. CONSTITUTION:The layers, which have the thickness of the optical films within a range of (10/4)lambda0X(0.95-1.05) where lambda0 is a reference wavelength set by the value of 400-700nm and have different refractive indexes from each other, are laminated. If the reference length lambda0 is set at 520nm for example, a high refractive index film of ZrO2 (refractive index: 2.1), a low refractive index film of SiO2 (refractive index: 1.4a) and an intermediate refractive index film of Al2O3 (refractive index: 1.63) are laminated in that order on a substrate so as to obtain the (1,300nm+ or -5%) thickness for the optical film. In such way, a comb- shaped trimming filter is obtained with about 70% transmittance at the area approximate to 480nm and 580nm, and about 90-100% transmittance at the wavelength bands of other visible regions.
