Abstract
PURPOSE:To accurately monitor blood sugar value continuously for a long time, by drawing blood by a catheter continously, making a flow passage of said blood in common with that of another calibration liquid and then, carrying out the calibration of an apparatus successively. CONSTITUTION:Blood of a patient is drawn by a double catheter 11 continously and a blood anticoagulant 12 is mixed and then, the mixture is sent to a sample liquid cup 15 by a pipe 14. A standard liquid 21 as a calibration liquid 21 and a base liquid 22 and also, a sample liquid 16 in the cup 15, are sucked successively by a pin 334 attached a common nozzle 31 to a tip end part 33a of a nozzle arm 33 and supported by a supporting shaft 333 inserted a disk 335 into a long hole 332 of a rear end part 33b of the arm 3 and the disk 335 by a mechanism carrying out a reciprocating motion by rotation of a motor and said liquid is flowed in common with the same flow passage 31 and then, a component of blood, especially blood sugar, is measured continously and automatically by a fixation enzyme film electrode 52 through a manifold M2. In such a manner, the ocurrence of a measuring error caused by a secular change of a flow rate or coagulation of blood etc. is prevented by separating each flow passage and change of the blood sugar is monitored accurately for a long time.
