Abstract
PURPOSE:To measure strain easily and correctly, by installing the gradient body on a sea structure equipped with a fender, installing the sliding body to the tip part of the gradient body and detecting the extent of movement and inclination of a sliding body. CONSTITUTION:A gradient body 12 is installed so that it can move slantingly in a desired direction against the sea structure 2 equipped with fender. A sliding body 13 is provided to the gradient body 12 so that it can freely slidable and also a tip part of it can move slantingly in a desired direction of the tip part of the fender. The extent of movement of the sliding body 13 against the gradient body 12 and inclination of the gradient body 12 against the sea structure 2 are detected by detectors 15 and 16 respectively.
