Abstract
PURPOSE:To decrease loss in a suction part and improve uniformity or a flow in a cascade inlet, by providing a slit on an annular mouth ring curved to bell shape. CONSTITUTION:A slit 13 is provided on a mouth ring 7 circumferentially in a range of about + or -60 deg.. A direction of the slit 13 is considered so that gas flows along as well on the mouth ring 7 as possible when the gas flows into a curved part 6 through the slit 13. Since gas of high static pressure in an area 12 is guided flowing into the curved part 6 through the slit 13 by conducting the area 12 to the curved part 6 through the slit 13, exfoliation can be prevented in a side end of the curved part 6 of the slit 13 with the highest change of pressure on the mouth ring 7.
