The material 31 is activated and allowed to travel alone under an infrared heater 15 and develop color. Then, it is conveyed between a plurality of diazo lamps 21 arranged upside and downside with a transparent polyester film conveyor belt, and fixed by being irradiated from both the side simultaneously, thus permitting dry type light fixing to be carried out in a short time.
