Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve utilization efficiency of solar heat by enabling variation of heat accumulation capacity of a heat accumulating tank to be heated by solar heat in accordance with all kinds of loads of hot water supply, in the titled system having the heat accumulator provided with an auxiliary heat source at the top and a heat exchanger at the bottom of said tank respectively. CONSTITUTION:This heat accumulating tank 1 consists of a high temperature reservoir 3 divided into two by two auxiliary heat sources 2a and 2b and a low temperature reservoir 5 divided into two by two heat exchangers 4a and 4b, and each of the heat exchangers 4a and 4b are connected with a solar heat collector (not shown) by laying a pipe through a return pipe 9 and a supply pipe 10. A connecting point between one edge of the heat exchanger 4a and the return pipe 9 is provided with a three-way switching valve 8. With this, only an auxiliary heat source 2a is operated at the time of a supply of a small quantity of hot water, while the three-way valve 8 is switched to a location as shown in the figure and capacity of the low temperature reservoir in which heat is accumulated by solar heat is made equal to combined capacity of reservoir 3b and 5a. On the other hand, at the time of the supply of a large quantity of hot water, both the heat sources 2a and 2b are operated and the three-way valve 8 is switched so as to circulate warm water obtained through a heat collector to the heat exchanger 4b only.
