Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a push-in type wind tunnel having a double wall measuring room with which a test is possible in a state under which the coincidence is secured with the natural conditions without disturbing the wind current, by flowing an air current into the gap formed between the outer wall of an inner cylinder forming the measuring room and the inner wall of a measuring tunnel. CONSTITUTION:An inner tunnel 9 of a measurting room is set inside a measuring tunnel 7 following a compressed current tunnel 5 of a wind tunnel, and gaps H1..., etc. are formed between the outer wall of the tunnel 9 and the inner wall of the inner wall of the tunnel 7. Thus no wind goes in or comes out between the gaps H1... and a cylinder 9 to cause no disturbance of the wind current of the cylinder 9. The wind is always flowing in the gaps H1..., and an effect of the temperature distribution difference of the tunnel 7 does not affect the cylinder 9 to prevent the occurrence of a convection within the cylinder 9. As a result, a push-in type wind tunnel having a double measuring room is obtained, with which a test is possible in a state under which the coincidence is obtained with the natural conditions without any disturbance of the wind current in the measuring room.
