Abstract
PURPOSE:To shorted the distance between the bearings by securing a bearing section equipped with an oil sump conducting to a pressure holding section and a lubrication oil supply port and a fixed ring provided between the pressure holding section and the bearing section while equipped with an oil sump conducting to the oil exhaust port to the atmosphere side of a bearing chamber. CONSTITUTION:A fixed ring 11 is secured to the inner-circumferential side of a casing 4 at the atmosphere side B of a shaft sealing chamber 5. To maintain the pressure in the shaft sealing chamber 5 a pressure holding section 11a is formed to provide a minute gap against the shaft 1 at the shaft sealing chamber 5 of said fixed ring 11 while a bearing section 11b for supporting the shaft 1 is formed at the atmosphere side B. Furthermore an oil sump 11c conducting to an oil exhaust port 12 is provided between the pressure holding section 11a and the bearing section 11b, while an oil sump 11d conducting to the lubrication oil supply ports 13, 14 are provided at the bearing section 11b.
