Abstract

PURPOSE:To reticulate the molecular orientation of the film, and to manufacture the thin film having high tear strength by mutually turning the inside die and outside die of a die with an annular extruding slit in the opposite direction while using a sliding surface as a boundary. CONSTITUTION:Raw material plastic is supplied from the hopper 2 of an extruding machine 1, and fed to the die 4 while being transported by means of a screw 3. The die 4 consists of the inside die 10 with the annular extruding slit 9 and the outside die 12 with the annular extruding die 11, and both are turned mutually in the opposite direction while using the sliding surface 13 as the boundary when manufacturing the film. An air hole 14 is formed at the central section of the inside die 10. Melted plastic extruded is cooled by means of a cooler 5 and changed into a cylindrical film, and wound by means of a winder 8.
