Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance the capability of removing slime on tyres by providing a carrying device for supporting both left and right tyres of a vehicle, with supporting units which may take either the phase in which one of both left and right tyres is permitted to rotate but the other is restricted, or the phase opposite to the afore-mentioned phase. CONSTITUTION:A tyre carrying device A in a tyre slime remover having a washing water jet device B comprises supporting units A1, A2 which may selectively take a first phase permitting one of both right and left tyres to rotate but restricting the rotation of the other one, or a second phase that is opposite to the first phase. The supporting unit A1 comprises rollers 1 for rotatably supporting the right tyre and fixing members 2 for supporting the left tyre in a rotation restricting state. On the contrary, the supporting unit A2 comprises the simillar rollers 3 for the left tyre and the similar fixing members 4 for the right tyre. Both rollers 1, 3 are coupled to and driven by motors M1, M2 through one way clutches 6, 7, respectively.
