Abstract

CONSTITUTION:A common electrode 2 is formed on a glass base 1, an opposing silicone substrate 4 is reinforced with a support plate made of glass, and a DSM nematic liquid crystal 3 is sealed in the space surrounded with both the substrates 1, 4 and a sealing member 10. A wiring 8 is formed on the silicon substrate 4, a mirror surface reflection plate in common use with an electrode 6 connected with a low resistance body is formed on a capacitor 7, and a thin film 9 made of silicon oxide film being metal oxide or tantalum, molybdenum, platinum black, or gold black being metal is formed in matrix shape via an insulator (e.g., polyimide, silicon dioxide) on other parts except the electrode 6.
