Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the processing work for jam, by making it possible to drawing out and moving a structure material, which includes a paper supplying device and a guide cover, from its mounting position toward the outside of a copying device and constituting the guide cover openably. CONSTITUTION:Upper guide covers 21 and 23 covering a paper supplying path 20 of a structure material 25 including a paper supplying device and guide covers are formed openably. That is, guide covers 21 and 23 are supported pivotally and turnably by hinge parts 56 and 57 and are opened by lifting them with respective free end parts. Pivotally supporting parts 56 and 57 of guide covers 21 and 23 are set in rear positions in the direction of drawing-out (the direction of an arrow A) of covers 21 and 23. Thus, the troublesome work of insertion of an operation handle into a deep part of the copying device and drawing-out of a transfer paper with the inserted tip part is omitted to simplify the processing work for jam.
