Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect a connection failure by a step response of a capacitor, by suppressing a voltage value applied to an offered sample, to voltage causing no dielectric breakdown of a film, or below, preventing a decision error of appreciation due to dielectric breakdown, and applying the step-like voltage. CONSTITUTION:In case when an offered sample 2 is a non-defective sample, a charging current by voltage of a step voltage generator 1 flows through a resistor 3, and voltage as shown by (a) is generated across the resistor 3. This voltage is compared with voltage of an electric power supply 5 for the reference potential which has been set in advance to a value being suitable for the offered sample 2, by a comparator 4, and it is displayed on an indicator that the sample is a non-defective unit. If the sample is a defective and has caused a connection failure, the charging current of the capacitor by the step voltage does not flow, voltage is scarcely generated across the resistor 3 as shown in (b), therefore, the failure can be displayed through the comparator 4 and the indicator 6. In this way, it is possible to decide a conneting state without causing dielectric breakdown of a film, by using the step voltage.
