Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable achievement of a boiling heating surface of high efficiency easily by a reentrance cavity, namely, by forming a great number of very small spaces whose interiors are wide and their openings are small. CONSTITUTION:A boiling heating surface is constituted with a porous material 7 and the surface cum groove 9, and even if an ideal space 11 is formed and a hole 8 of the porous materal 7 is positioned on the tip 10 of a crest of the surface cum groove 9, a good boiling heating characteristic is realized as the space 11 is not clogged but the space 11 is of use for a bubble removal. Then the hole 8 of the porous material 7 is made into a long hole having a long and narrow shape, and the long hole is so constituted that its longitudinal length is larger than at least width of the tip 10 of the crests which place a groove of the surface cum groove between them, and the long hole crosses over a direction of a ridge of the crest of the surface cum groove.
