PURPOSE:To supply a stable substrate potential against a variation of supply voltage, by providing a substrate biasing circuit which is capable of increasing not only the substrate potential but also control width of the substrate potential. CONSTITUTION:An oscillating circuit 11 supplies polyphase pulses (a), (b) and (c) to a substrate voltage generating circuit 13. The circuit concerned is provided with a D-type MOS TR1 and E-type MOS TRs 2-4, voltage of each point (d), (e) and (f) become (d), (e) and (f) as the polyphase pulses are applied, and the substrate voltage VSUB is obtained as shown by (g).
