Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate unbalance of reactance of the three phase windings of a three phase air-core reactor by a method wherein magnetic shielding bodies are provided to face with both side windings of the three phase windings arranged on a straight line at an equal interval, and the distances between the magnetic shielding bodies and the windings are made as regulatable. CONSTITUTION:The three phase windings 1, 2, 3 of the air-core type starting reactor are disposed in the array on the straight line at the equal interval and are fixed by clamp metal fittings 4, and are accomodated in a tank 8 being equipped with nonmagnetic shielding bodies 7 of copper plates, etc., on the inside walls facing with each other in the longitudinal direction and on the bottom face. Magnetic shielding bodies 9 are equipped through regulating bolts 10 on the inside walls of the tank facing respectively with the both side windings 1, 3. Because the distance between the magnetic shielding bodies 9 and the windings 1, 3 are regulatable by the regulating bolts 10, the windings 1, 2, 3 of three phase can obtain together the prescribed reactance with the same number of windings, and unbalance of reactance of the windings of respective phase can be corrected.
