Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent an outflow of mixed fluid, by interlocking a float to a shut-off valve and closing the shut-off valve when the float is moved floating and sinking. CONSTITUTION:In case of an accident when oil in a stroage fluid intrudes into a roof drain piping 4, an oil layer encloses a float 9, accordingly the float 9 loses its buoyancy to move downward. That is, liquid has been converted to oil of the storage fluid, then buoyancy, corresponding to a value multiplied with volume of the float 9 to a specific gravity difference between rain water and oil, is lost to lower the float 9. Simultaneously, a shut-off valve unit 10, connected to the float with a wire, is pulled upward and closely attached to a valve seat 12 to shut off a flow line, in this way, the mixed fluid can be prevented from outflowing.
