In addition, this is coated with a synthetic resin layer 3 containing the 2nd foaming agent with a decomposing temperatuer higher than that of the 1st foaming agent. Subsequently, when this is heated and expanded, the 1st synthetic resin layer 2 provided with a previously mold-pressed relief and the 2nd synthetic resin layer 3 coated with this layer are expanded and accordingly, the surface layer made by expansion of the 2nd synthetic resin layer is expanded by hollow core parts 4 showing foamed traces of the 1st synthetic resin layer on condition that the 2nd synthetic resin layer is sealed still hermetically. Accordingly, decorative foam material with extremely corrugated reliefs is obtained without increasing the quantity of resin.
