Abstract

PURPOSE:To move a sound image between required speakers by controlling 2 voltage control type pan pots by different periodical voltage waveforms and converting respective output signals from the pan pots into a stereophonic 2-channel signal. CONSTITUTION:A monoral signal inputted from an input terminal 15 and one is outputted from output terminals 18, 19 through 2 voltage control type pan pots 16, 17. Sound signals flow into this line. The other signal branched from the monoral signal is inputted to a voice signal switching circuit 20 and, when there exists a voice signal, the signal passes through a rectifier circuit 21 and a DC pulse generating circuit 22 and the output is applied to analog switches 24, 25 to pass waveforms (g), (h) obtained by rectifying two AC waveforms (e), (f) between which PI/2 phase difference is held and control pan pots 16, 17. When a voice image is to be fixed on a required position, the switching circuit 20 is opened, the switches 24, 25 are opened and the switch 26 is closed to apply the prescribed DC voltage to the pan pots 16, 17 by a DC setting voltage output circuit 27.
