Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve an S/N ratio by driving a transistor (TR) for a high-frequency input signal switch by a local oscillation signal through an LC type HPF. CONSTITUTION:To the emitter resitance R3 of TRs Q1 and Q2, a high-frequency input signal es is applied through a capacitor C3. A local oscillation signal eL is applied to the bases of the TRs Q1 and Q2 through coupling capacitors C1 and C2. Intermediate-frequency components obtained from the collectors of the TRs Q1 and Q2 are led out from a terminal 10 through a transformer 9. Then, base biases for the TRs Q1 and Q2 are obtained by using base bias coils L1 and L2, reducing the generation of noise.
