Abstract
PURPOSE:A traveler for a spinning machine, having a shape in which a plane including the body thereof and a plane including the top and leg thereof cross each other at a specific angle, a long contact length of the body as a main sliding surface, and capable of sliding stably. CONSTITUTION:A traveler consisting of the top 1, a leg 3 and a body 4 is molded from a hard steel wire material. In the process, the body 4 is bent in the doglegged form to make the crossing angle alpha between a plane including the top 1 and the leg 3 and a plane including the body 4 90+ or -30 deg.. Preferably, a peak 6 of the body 4 is shifted backward to the sliding direction of the traveler.
