Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the stay of a sheet at the separating part when applying the brakes to the moving sheet and to secure the stable feed of the sheet, by eliminating the feeding delay of the sheet which is caused by a slip between a separating roller and the sheet. CONSTITUTION:A separating roller 23 having a part of its circumference surface protruding over the sheet mounting surface of a sheet mounting table 6 and turning toward the sheet feeding direction is set at the part near the tip of the table 6. A brake plate 85 is set on the circumference surface of the roller 23 along with a paper feed roller 25 which turns toward the sheet feeding direction at the upstream side of the roller 23 to feed the sheet. Furthermore a vacuum fan 116 that adsorbs the sheet to the table 6 plus a driving means which turns the rollers 23 and 25 are provided at the lower part of the table 6. The rotational frequency of the roller 23 is set higher than that of the roller 25 in order to eliminate the feeding delay of the sheet which is caused by the sheet slip between the roller 23 and the sheet. Thus the sheet is fed in the stable way.
