Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent vapor lock phenomenon effectively by a method wherein a heat resistive thermosetting resin is impregnated into a bundle of fiber, a textile fabric or a nonwoven fabric consisting of organic, inorganic or metallic fibers and is cured by heat, thereafter, a viscoelastic material is incorporated into it to form the shim. CONSTITUTION:The bundle of fibers, the textile fabric, the nonwoven fabric or the like consisting of metallic fibers such as stainless steel fibers or the like, the organic fibers such as carbon fibers or the like, or the inorganic fibers such as potassium titanate or the like may be listed up as a sheet material. The heat resistive thermosetting resin, such as polyimide or the like, is impregnated into these materials and is cured by a heat treatment, thereafter, the viscoelastic material such as rubber or the like is incorporated into them by a roll or a press by kneading to make the objective shim.
