Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of an abnormal fan noise by a method wherein a positional relation between an inlet port and an outlet port of a circulating passage communicated with the inlet port is constituted so that at least one of them is located on the oil surface of an oil reservoir at any stopped condition of the revolution of the fan. CONSTITUTION:A dam 12, provided at the outer peripheral wall part of a driving disc 7 and at a place on a casing side where the oil on the opposing peripheral wall surface is accumulated, has a function to pump the oil from a torque transmission chamber 4 side to the oil reservoir 6 side by the inlet port 13 provided at the vicinity of the dam before the revolving direction of the driving disc 7 and the circulating passage 13' communicated with the inlet port 13. An arced grooved passageway 14, provided so as to communicate with the circulating passage 13' and to hold the bulkhead 16 thereof around the inner peripheral wall surface of the oil reservoir 6, is constituted with such a terminal opening that the positional relation between the outlet port 15 and the inlet port 13 is determined so that at least one of them is located above the oil surface existing in the oil reservoir 6 at any stopped condition of the revolution of the fan.
