Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to improve the starting and stop operations and to advance the safety of heat exchanger by a method wherein an indoor blower, a regenerative blower, a rotary latent heat exchanger and a regenerative heat source device are actuated with delay action.
CONSTITUTION: In order to start, at first, an outdoor blower 5, a sensible heat exchanger 6, humidifiers 7 and 8 are started and next, the regenerative blower 3 and the regenerative heat source device and finally the indoor blower 1 and the latent heat exchanger 2 are brought into operation with delay. In order to stop, the regenerative heat source device 4, the outdoor blower 5, sensible heat exchanger 6 and the humidifiers 7 and 8 are stopped at first and next, the regenerative blower 3 and finally the indoor blower 1 and the latent heat exchanger 2 are brought into stoppage with delay. The operation with delay action as mentioned above holds down the peak of the starting current low and makes the rise of the starting current smooth and allows the regenerative heat source device 4 and the latent heat exchanger 2 to cool thoroughly at the time of stoppage of the air conditioner.
