Abstract

PURPOSE:To avoid trouble and mistake in selection of a cassette, by preferentialy using a cassette designated with a cassette size designating means when copying is restarted after laps of a constant time from the end of copying. CONSTITUTION:An operation panel is provided with a 7 segment display device 101, ten keys 102, a referential mode selection key 105, etc. After pushing the key 105, one of the ten keys 102 in which the key 1 corresonds to the cassette of Size A3, the key 2 to that of Size B4, and so forth is impressed, for example, when the key 1 is pushed, B4 is displayed on the device 101, and further upon pushing the key 105, the preferential mode of the B4 cassette is actuated, and this cassette is preferentially used when copying is restarted after lapse of a constant time from the end of copying, thus permitting mistake and trouble in selection of multistage cassettes to be avoided.
