Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve precise positioning control by improving the resolution of position detection by resolving voltages induced between respective conductors of two navigation aid lines differing in periodic structure into in-phase voltages and out-of-phase voltages, combining those in-phase and out-of-phase voltages between those two lines, and then adding phase differences. CONSTITUTION:The 1st navigation aid line 41 constituted by arranging N, e.g. three conductors 11-31 and the 2nd navigation aid line 42 differing in only periodic structure from the 1st line 41 and consisting of conductors 12-32 are laid along the running path of a moving body. Those two lines 41 and 42 are energized by an antenna mounted on the moving body and voltages induced between the adjacent conductors of the lines are resolved into in-phase and out-of- phase voltages. Then, a phase difference between the in-pase voltage of the 1st line and the out-of-phase voltage of the 2nd line and that between the in-phase voltage of the 2nd line and the out-of-phase voltage of the 1st line are added at parts 9. Thus, precise position control is exercised.
