Abstract
PURPOSE:To easily discharge fuel oil ash, adhering to and accumulated in the internal wall of a transport pipe, to the outside of the transport pipe, by such constitution that steam is circulated to the inside of the transport pipe when the fuel oil ash is caused adhesion and accumulation in the transport pipe of fuel oil ash. CONSTITUTION:Fuel oil ash, seized by an electric dust collector 1, is stored to an ash storage tank 5 from a transport pipe 2 through a cyclone 3 and bag filter 4. Then the ash is transferred by air transport through a pipe 7 to an ash storage tank 8, neighboring to an incinerator, and again stored. The ash in the storage tank 8 passes through a pipe 10 by a flow of air from a ventilator 9, and is fed to an incinerator 11 and destroyed by fire. In this case, when tendency of choking internally of the pipe 10 with the fuel oil ash is detected by an air pressure gage 17, shut off valves 13 and ball valve 14 are closed to stop the ventilator 9, while a steam supply valve 16 and blow valve 15 are opened. In this way, steam 18 is caused to reversely flow in the pipe 10 and discharged from the blow valve 15 to remove scale of the fuel oil ash.
