Abstract

PURPOSE:To smoothly convey an article in the spiral grooves of a pair of parallel screw shafts, by supporting the pair of screw shafts in parallel with each other and rotating them in opposite directions to each other. CONSTITUTION:A conveyor 1 for carrying an ampule 9 between an aseptic chamber 7 and a sterilization chamber 71 after liquid medicine is introduced into the ampule and it is sealed up includes two parallel screw shafts 2, 2a pivotally supported in an oblong frame 11 inclined downward in the direction of the conveyance. The screw shafts 2, 2a have spiral grooves 3, 3a equal to each other in lead angle but inverse to each other in twisting direction and located coincidently to each other. The screw shafts 2, 2a are rotated in opposite directions to each other by a motor 8 through a gear train and so forth so that the ampule 9 received from a conveyor 6 through a transfer unit 4 is put into the grooves 3, 3a and then conveyed leftward while being prevented by a guide plate 5 from falling.
