Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable an external-pressure test for an apparatus with no fear of corrosion by covering the apparatus to be tested with non-corrosive pressure liquid filled up in a flexible vessel so as for the apparatus not to contact directly with a pressure liquid. CONSTITUTION:Equipment used for an external-pressure test comprises a pressure test tank 21, a flexible vessel 22 such as a bag made of polyethylene, and a pressure liquid 24, such as Freon, which is non-corrosive for an apparatus 23 to be tested and is free from the fall of insulation due to natural drying. The pressure liquid 24 is filled up in the vessel 22. Moreover, a pressure liquid 25 such as water is filled up in a space between the vessel 22 and the pressure test tank 21. When external pressure is applied to the apparatus 23 through the pressure liquid 24 by applying pressure to the pressure liquid 25 through a pressure hole 26 in this constitution, the apparatus 23 does not contact directly with the corrosive pressure liquid 25, such as water, which is filled up in the pressure test tank 21, and thus it is not corroded.
