Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable simultaneous checking of an effective diameter position as well as a screw thread shape, eccentricity, and declination, by a method wherein a notch for inspecting a screw thread shape is formed independently from a notch for inspecting a screw thread shape is formed independently from a notch for checking an effective diameter position, and an inspection hole and a lighting intake aperture are provided in a holder for a ring gauge body. CONSTITUTION:A notch 11c for inspecting a screw thread shape is formed in a small-sized end side of a tapered female screw 11a for a gauge in a ring gauge body 11 like a notch 11b for inspecting an effective diameter position. This permits the inspection of eccentricity and declination between the body part 12b of the tapered male screw 12 to be checked and the screw part and the check of the degree thereof.
