Abstract
PURPOSE:To avoid the projection of a bucket toward the side of a vehicle by reversely turning a rotator by means of a cylinder connected between the vehicle and the rotator in an excavator in which one end of the rotator is pivotally supported by biasing it toward one side of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION:On the center of a vehicle 1, one end of a slender rotator 5 whose both ends are of a semicircular form is supported pivotally by slightly biasing its axis toward the side of the vehicle 1, and a rotary base 6 is pivotally supported on the other end of the rotator 5. On the rotary base 6, a driver seat 7 and an operating mechanism are provided. The vehicle is connected with the rotator 5 by an oil-pressure cylinder 32, an intermediate gear 19 is provided at the tip rod 36 of the oil-pressure cylinder 32, and the fixed gear 18 of the vehicle 1 is connected in an interlocking manner to the rotary gear 20 of the rotary base. Thus, by the expansion or shrinkage of said oil-pressure cylinder, the rotator 1 turns toward the direction of arrow A, the rotary base 6 turns in the direction of arrow B or in the opposite direction of the rotator 1, and the bucket 14 is thus not projected from the vehicle 1.
