PURPOSE:To effectively prevent the leakage of water in a cylindrical water-wheel generator by forming more than three sealing agent filling holes to packing grooves formed on the connecting surface of a stator sheath over the entire peripheral connecting surface, thereby effectively performing the filling of the sealing agent and the detection thereof. CONSTITUTION:Packing grooves 4 and liquid packing filling groove 5 are formed on the connecting surface of a stator 2 of a generator installed in a water channel and a cone 3 mounted at the upstream side of the water channel. More than three sealing agent filling holes 6a-6c to the groove 5 are formed, an injection pump 7 is sequenially connected to the respective holes, and sealing agent is filled. Thus, the filling of the sealing agent to the groove 5 can be readily confirmed, and the leakage of the water can be readily detected.
