Abstract

PURPOSE:To contrive the improvement of the characteristic of a semiconductor element, by using a polyacetylene film with 5% or less of oligomer amount for a semiconductor material. CONSTITUTION:The polyacetylene film represented in R-(CR=CR')m-R'[R, R' for hydrogen or alkyl group, m>6]is reduced in the amount of oligomer to 5% or less by ultrasonic treatment to constitute semiconductor elements e.g. a solar cell, with this film. Thus, electric resistance and trap density by a defect are reduced to enhance the electrical characteristic.
