Abstract

PURPOSE:To control the amount of gas mixed into the fuel in a method wherein the gas is mixed into the fuel and the fuel is injected into a combustion chamber through an injection pump. CONSTITUTION:A fuel supplying system F and a gas supplying system G are provided on a pressure equalizing tank 10. The fuel supplying system F is provided with a fuel tank 11, a feed pump 12 and a pressure regulator 13 while it is communicated with the pressure equalizing tank 10. The gas supplying system G is provided with a compressor 14 and a pressure regulator 15 while it is communicated with the pressure equalizing tank 10. The fuel and gas, fed by the feed pump 12 and the compressor 14, are reserved in the same pressure equalizing tank 10 once, therefore, the pressures of both bodies are equalized. The fuel and the gas are regulated in their pressure by pressure regulators 21, 19 equipped after the tank 10 and are sent into an air mixer M. Therefore, a pressure difference control accuracy upon mixing the gas into the fuel may be improved remarkably.
