Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve power loss and shortening of life due to wear of vanes by making of cylinder rotatable and installing a vane accomodating device onto the cylinder and inserting the top edge of the vane installed on the rotor into the accomodating apparatus slidably.
CONSTITUTION: Vanes 17 are installed onto a rotor 14 rotatably, and one 18 of these vanes is fixed. A vane accomodating apparatus 19 is installed on the inner wall of a cylinder 13 in correspondence to the vane 18, and the top edges of the vanes 17 and 18 are supported in slidable manner. When high pressure fluid flow-in from an intake port, the fluid expands in a space and pushes the vanes 17 and 18, which is rotated, and then the cylinder 13 and the rotor 14 are rotated, and the rotation output is taken-out from the rotor 14. With such a constitution, the friction between the inner wall of the cylinder and the vane as in the conventional apparatus, and shortening of life due to wear of the vanes 17 and 18 can be improved.
