Abstract

PURPOSE: To produce an adsorptive sheet which has good workability and high adsorptive power, and has a high yield of activated carbon without contg. asbestos by constituting said sheet of cellulose fibers, activated carbon powder, an inorg. filler and a binder.
CONSTITUTION: Cellulose fibers, activated carbon powder and an inorg. filler are dispersed in water to prepare a slurry, to which a binder having ionic characteristic reverse to the zeta potential of the inorg. filler is added. Or a fixing assistant having the ionic characteristic reverse to the zeta potential of the inorg. filler is added thereto. Thereafter, a binder having the same ionic characteristic as the zeta potential of the inorg. filler is added thereto and this is manufactured to sheets by a wet type sheet manufacturing, method, whereby the adsorptive sheet is obtained.
