Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the reliability of a TV relay broadcasting device of image/voice separation amplifying system, by amplifying both the image and voice at one time when a fault arises. CONSTITUTION:In the normal mode a switch SW is set at a position shown by a solid line in the diagram. The video signal PIC and the voice signal VOI which are separated from each other through filters FIL1 and FIL2 are amplified by exclusive amplifiers AMP1 and AMP2 and led to the subsequent processing circuit via a mixers MIX2 and MIX3, respectively. On the other hand, if some fault arises at an electric power amplifying stage PA3, the switch SW is changed to the position shown by the dotted line. Then the voice signal amplified by the amplifier AMP2 is mixed again with the video signal via a hybrid circuit H1. Thus the voice signal receives the amplification of electric power through power amplifiers PA1 and PA2 of the video signal system. As a result, the function of the system is maintained regardless of the fault if the amplifier PA3.
