Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize a parallel process for a number of operations and to increase the speed of operation, by using an optical signal as well as the space distribution of the light. CONSTITUTION:An LED array 1 is formed with (n) units of LED which are arrayed in the direction of axis X. A projection signal (p) is applied to the array 1 via an input driving circuit 2 to deliver the space light having the brightness distributing in accordance with the signal (p). At the same time, an optical gate array element 3 which is irradiated by the light given from the array 1 is formed with plural optical gates which are arrayed to the axis X with 45 inclination. A nuclear function signal (h) is applied to the element 3 via an input driving circuit 4 to control the transmittance of the element 3. Furthermore an optical sensor array 5 is set in the direction of axis Y to receive the light from the array 1 via the element 3. In such way, a number of operations can be processed parallel to increase the speed of operation.
