Abstract

PURPOSE:To protect a momentary overvoltage, by inserting a circuit which clamps the voltage between output lines within an allowable range and measuring components of a rapid voltage fluctuation through an integral network and controlling a breaking circuit and etc. when the measured output is higher than a prescribed voltage. CONSTITUTION:both ends of a resistance element R are connected to a breaking circuit and alarm generating circuit BR through an integral network ITG. Though the voltage is clamped by a Zenr diode ZD and a current is flowed to the resistance R, the current due to the overvoltage state generated by a pulse noise disappears in moment. When the voltage across both ends of the resistance R detected through the integral network ITG continues for >=10ms, the circuit is in such true abnormal state that an alarm should be issued. Consequently, the breaking circuit and alarm generating circuit BR is operated by the outut signal of the integral network ITG. Thus, the output is intercepted to issue the alarm in the true abnormal state only by limiting the output voltage for a momentary overvoltage.
