Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate and ensure the judgment for using either a short time scale or a long time scale in a simple constitution, by controlling switches of a timer motor by two cams which are linked with a timer knob that sets timer periods. CONSTITUTION:When the timer knob 4 is rotated clockwise, a cam 8 which has a nonoperating part only in the vicinity of a stop position and a cam 9 wherein a nonoperating part of about 200 deg. is formed and the like are associatively rotated. During the period the knob 4 indicates the short time scale in the range of 200 deg. from a starting point of a timer scale 5, only a switch 11 is closed by the cam 8, a timer motor 7 is rotated at a spcified speed, and the knob 4 is rotated in the reverse direction during the preset time period. Meanwhile, when the knob 4 is rotated more than 200 deg. and indicates the long time scale of the scale 5, a switch 12 is also closed by the cam 9, the motor 7 is rotated at a different speed, and the same timer operation is performed. In this simple constitution, the short time scale is not overlapped with the long time scale, and the judgment of use of the either two can be readily and positively performed.
