Abstract
PURPOSE:To easily perform adjustment of the stroke of a piston rod with simple constitution, by providing a stroke adjusting member to an end part of the piston rod and providing a throttle valve mechanism, in an oil passage, between one of the cylinder chambers and an oil pressure source, at a face-to-face position to said stroke adjusting member. CONSTITUTION:In application of the invention to an oil hydraulic press, if a selector valve 147 is switched to the left side, working fluid from an oil hydraulic pump 145 passes through an oil passage 155, throttle valve mechanism 159, and oil passage 157 to flow into the first chamber 127a of a cylinder 123. While fluid in the second chamber 127b flows out from an oil passage 153 to a tank T, then a piston rod 131 is protrusively moved downward. In accordance with this motion, the end of a stroke adjusting member 137 is adapted to a protrusive pin 177 of a throttle valve body 173 to press down this valve, then a flow amount to the oil passage 157 is reduced while a flow amount guided to a chamber 183a in a control valve 169 is increased to open said valve 169, and the fluid flows into the tank T from an oil passage 203, in this way, movement of the piston rod 131 is stopped.
