Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent a decline of a gas pressure by providing a check valve and a gas pressure holding valve on a gas filling accumulator which stores a compressed liquid to reduce transmission or diffusion of the gas. CONSTITUTION:A gas filling a accumulator 26 stores a brake liquid which is compressed by a pump 20, and applies a pressure to a pipe 4b on the side of a master cylinder. A check valve 41 and a pressure holding valve 47 are provided together on a fitting member 27 of the accumulator 26 so as to keep a remaining pressure in the accumulator 26 even if no pressure is present in the pipe 4b when not in operation. Thereby, the gas diffused through a membrane member 52 made of gum, etc. between a pressure storage chamber 55 and a gas pressure chamber 53 is reduced, and a decline of the pressure of the gas pressure chamber 53 is prevented. Furthermore, even if the gas pressure is lowered, the brake liquid is kept remaining in the pressure storage chamber 55, therefore the pressure holding of the overall accumulator is assured.
