Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce an idling time as well as to obtain an uniform printing quality, by a method wherein, in a printer provided with ink rollers, a plural number of same ink rollers are installed around a type wheel. CONSTITUTION:In addition to an ink roller 9, another ink roller 9' is mounted to a type wheel 6 and in the proximity of a printing position. In a type whereon ink is applied by the ink roller 9 once, in case ink is applied in a high density, extra ink is slightly absorbed by the ink roller 9', and in case only a small amount of ink is coated, ink is applied again by the roller 9' to bring it to an uniform applying amount. As a result, an idling time at each printing can also be shortened.
