Abstract
PURPOSE:To measure answer delay and connection delay automatically by providing an artificial device with outgoing and incoming routes for measurement, and setting 1:1 connections from the incoming routes to the outgoing routes. CONSTITUTION:A pseudo-call device 102 is provided with outgoing routes 109 and 110 for measurement including only one circuit and incoming routes 107 and 108 for measurement, which are equipped to a switchboard 101; and selection signals are so set that 1:1 connections from the incoming routes to the outgoing routes are made. For this purpose, a pseudo load having an optional set point is applied to the switchboard 101 and switchboard delay time characteristics by the load are measured automatically.
