Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a type clear and to simplify and miniaturize construction of printers by a construction wherein all of spokes of a petal-like type wheel is reinforced by a circular support, and a rotating guide member provided coaxially with an ink roller is brought into contact with the outer peripheral edge of the support. CONSTITUTION:All of spokes 9 of a petal-like front wheel 4 is reinforced by a circular support 11. Then, a rotating guide member (bevel gear) 17 provided coaxially with an ink roller 8 is brought into contact with the outer peripheral portion of the support 11. The type wheel 4 is synchronized with the ink roller 8. By so doing, a pressing force of the ink roller 8 against the type surface is restricted and hence a lateral pressure urging upon the spokes 9 ca be eliminated, so that ink supply to the type faces from the ink roller 8 is ensured.
