Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent ozone from leaking out of a copying machine, by exhausting a waste gas from a vacuum conveyor near a fixing device through an ozone filter out of the machine. CONSTITUTION:A vacuum conveyor 7 installed near a fixing device carries a copying paper in close contact with a conveyor belt by drawing the gas with a blower 5. The exhaust gas of the blower 5 is drawn out of a copying machine through an ozone filter 10. A paper belt conveyor 3 of a paper extruder draws the gas with a blower 4 and blows the delivery gas 6 from above toward the paper through a duct 11 to bring it into close contact with the belt 1 in order to convey it.
